End Of Lockdown!

Without much warning it seems that the lockdown here in Morocco is over. We did it!

Today we ventured out for some groceries only to discover that the restaurants have reopened (at 50% capacity). We enjoyed lunch in a small cafe. The marina complex has removed its barriers to the public and this afternoon people refilled the coastal boardwalks. Children squealed with delight playing amongst the public fountains. Shops are trading again. The nightly curfew has been lifted, and this evening people tooted their horns with joy whilst driving the recently deserted streets.

Tangier has come back to life!
