Welcome Aboard

Our summer of waiting is over! Today we closed up the country house and hit the road for La Rochelle. After connecting with Romain (our contact from Multihull Solutions), we settled in to our AirBnB and grabbed some lunch before heading over to the marina to tick off some formalities.

But before that happened, it was time to christen the boat with a bottle of bubbly amongst the welcome flowers and spare engine parts!

Tomorrow we move our boxes on to the boat (that were shipped down from the UK two months ago) and start unpacking. And in just a few days we’ll move aboard s/v Long Summer… Yippee!
