Handing Over

Selling Long Summer was no easy decision. More than just a home, she has been an extension of our family for the past four years - our third baby. She is the vessel that has taken us on countless adventures and kept us safe out in the wild. So, as you can imagine, handing her over to someone else was a big emotional process. But her new owners, Sue & Steve, could not have made the process any smoother. Their kind and considerate approach throughout the handover was immensely appreciated, and neatly completed our family project that has spanned the years. 

For two weeks we walked the path of selling and buying together. And once all the paperwork was said and done we took Sue & Steve out on a training day to — quite literally — show them the ropes! We are comforted by the fact that Long Summer is in good hands and will continue her adventures on the high seas with our new friends. We couldn't have asked for anyone better to hand the keys over to, and I’m sure we’ll see each other out on the open seas again one day soon! Fair winds, Sue & Steve!
