Milan

From Venice, we waved goodbye to our Workawayer Francesca, and took a little road trip around the north of Italy. First stop: Milan. This fast-paced metropolis is a city of the past and future, where looking good is an art-form.

The Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology was mind-blowing. The Duomo di Milano was awe-inspiring. The Castello Sforzesco, one of the largest castles in Europe, was jaw-dropping. (Oh, and the shopping was world-class!)

A few nights in Italy’s second city is barely enough to scrape the surface, but how nice it was to spend some time in the big smoke once again!
