Lopud Island
We anchored for two nights on the north-east side of this small, car-free isle. Lopud Island is the middle of the three main islands that make up the Elaphiti Archipelago, which stretches out northwest of Dubrovnik.
We spent an afternoon enjoying lunch on the promenade with Long Summer anchored nearby in the bay. We strolled through Dordic-Mayneri Park, that was once the garden accompanying the summer house of a local aristocrat. We wandered the little harbour and explored the rock-pools underneath the 15th Century Franciscan Monastery. And we marvelled at yet another stunning sunset in this lovely little corner of the world.
