Lefkas Canal (North to South)
Entering the Lefkas Canal past the peculiar floating bridge. It can serve as both a draw bridge and a swing bridge, meaning the operator can open either just part or all of it. This bridge connects the island of Lefkada with the mainland, so the pressure from traffic to close the bridge again means that if you’re not fast enough navigating, then you’ll be shut out until the next bridge opening. Fortunately for us it wasn’t busy on the day we made the passage into the causeway!
